Plitvice Lakes National Park is located in Croatia, Europe’s second most populous country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name of the park means ‘waterfall spray’ in Croatian, and describes the series of interconnected cascading streams that form the lakes inside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The park’s waterfalls cascade down a massive basalt rock formation and create a series of cascades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kornati is a national park in Croatia consisting of 2,700 islands in the northern Adriatic Sea. It’s named after the Croatian word for cypress tree, koruna-t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kornati is Europe’s third largest national park and its most southerly one. It’s also Croatia’s only national park on an island, with Hvar being the only one on a mainland one. Kornati is home to a number of different ecosystems and natural wonders.

Kornati is an unspoiled natural wonder. It’s a haven for various endangered animal species, such as the European otter, bottlenose dolphin, and loggerhead sea turtle. Kornati’s waters are also home to hundreds of species of native mussels, snails and other invertebrates. In addition, many different types of fish and mollusks live in the park’s waters as well. It even has a population of sea turtles that nest on some of the islands.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
