The name of the river means ‘crocodile’ in Croatian, and that’s because ancient inhabitants believed the river to be full of deadly predators. In addition, the park has many waterfalls, crystal-clear lakes and wetlands. There are many hiking trails in Krka that allow visitors to see the park’s natural beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The park is famous for its natural beauty. Many people visit Krka to see its many waterfalls. One of the most famous falls is Cascajerka Falls, which has an elevation of 60 feet. However, Cascajerka Falls isn’t the park’s highest waterfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
